Imagine a patient arrives at the clinic with severe bone loss in the maxilla. The implant they need has nowhere to anchor: the bone that should support it has disappeared after years of tooth absence or untreated periodontal disease. At that moment, the difference between being able to offer a real solution or referring the patient without an answer is almost always determined by the training of the professional in front of them. It is precisely this type of situation that turns advanced training in implantology into something more than an academic merit: it becomes a direct tool at the service of the patient.<\/p>

The Dr. Vicente Plat\u00f3n<\/strong>, doctor in dentistry at Plat\u00f3n Salud + Dental Aesthetics<\/a>, has been part of the teaching team that delivered the course Advanced Surgery in Implantology and Bone Regeneration. Theoretical-practical course on cadaver model<\/strong>, organised by the Faculty of Dentistry of the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC).
