Clinical case: Restoring function with a dental implant

A patient came in because her upper right first premolar was severely damaged and could not be saved with conventional treatments. After evaluating all the options, it was decided to extract the tooth and place a dental implant in its place. After the implant had integrated into the bone, we digitally fabricated a zirconium crown.

The important thing in this type of treatment is that the replacement tooth blends in perfectly with the neighboring teeth, restoring the patient’s confidence to smile and chew normally.
